Despite being gone for over two decades, Oustass Omar Bun Jeng's legacy continues to live on. Many people still listen to his past recorded sermons, lectures, and Qur'anic recitations across The Gambia. His voice remains a familiar presence, especially during Ramadan, when it is heard on nearly all the radio stations in the country. Oustass Omar Bun Jeng will always be remembered for his dedication to Islam, his profound knowledge, and his role in shaping the spiritual lives of many in Gambia and Senegal.
