GR86 Version II: The Culmination of Aerodynamic Evolution Front Design & Functionality In developing the front fascia, we prioritized human intuition and the artistry of hand-craftsmanship over purely digital modeling. By refining the design through the naked eye while working directly with the vehicle, we achieved a level of texture and presence that CAD alone cannot replicate. Functionally, it comes equipped with a standard underwing, significantly improving both aerodynamic drag and downforce. Side Silhouette The side components are designed to integrate seamlessly with the factory aero. By utilizing a three-dimensional architectural approach, we have added a sense of depth and "realism" to the car's profile. Engine Hood We took the GR86’s signature low hood line even further. By dropping the ducting to the absolute physical limit, we have created a striking "Low & Wide" aesthetic. Balance & Aesthetics: While the ducts are aggressive, the overall design remains clean and sophisticated. The surfacing is so precise that the kit is designed to be color-matched to the body, achieving a sense of unity that doesn't rely on raw carbon fiber for impact. Engineering: The hood is designed with oil cooler clearance in mind; when an oil cooler is added, the dimensions are optimized for use with a short-type oil element. GT Wing We have adopted Voltex’s iconic 2-element wing, which provides substantial rear stability ranging from street driving to high-speed circuit use. The mounting system features a two-piece, CNC-machined aluminum bracket and base—a design that is both minimalist and exceptionally high in structural rigidity. Tires & Wheels We opted for a "sensible widebody" setup—+40mm at the front and +50mm at the rear. This allows for maximum performance without compromising suspension geometry or everyday practicality, such as fitting into standard parking spaces. Wheels: Custom-ordered RAYS TE37 S-plus (11J +24 / 5x100) in a "Face 4" concave profile—an exclusive Voltex original size. Tires: YOKOHAMA ADVAN AD09 (285/30R18). We hope this becomes a car you truly cherish. フロントのデザインはハンドメイドで現車を見ながら人の目で見た感覚を優先してデジタル造形では簡単に表現出来ない質感に仕上げることに注力しました、機能的には標準でアンダーウイングが装着され空気抵抗とダウンフォースの改善に貢献しています サイドは純正エアロに追加する形で構成し立体的なつくり込みでリアル感を出しています エンジンフードはGR86の特徴である低いエンジンフードを更にダクトをギリギリまで落とし込んでロー＆ワイドを演出しています このエンジンフードは車両全体を見た時のバランスを重視して大胆にダクトを落としながらもシンプルにそしてダクト開口部などの綺麗に処理することでカーボン目に頼らないボディー同色でこそ一体感の出るデザインになっています、また、オイルクーラーを追加される場合はショートタイプのオイルエレメントで対応できる寸法になっています ウイングはボルテックスの特徴的な２エレメントタイプのウイングを採用しストリートからサーキットまでリヤの安定感に大きく貢献しています。また台座とブラケット部分を一体化した2ピースアルミ削り出しの シンプルで高強度の取付方法を採用しています タイヤ＆ホイール 車幅リヤ＋50㎜、フロント＋40㎜と適度なワイドでサスペンションの機能を損なわない範囲での設定で、サーキット走行やストリートでも普通の駐車場に止められるようにしました。これを実現するため11JでRAYSホイールのフェイス４を特注サイズ製作しました タイヤ：YOKOHAMA　AD09　285/30/18 ホール：RAYS　TE37　S-plus11J+24/100（voltex original size) このGR８６バージョンⅡは永年エアロパーツを開発してタイムアタックエアロからの原点回帰的な一つの集大成として開発しました、ぜひマイペースで、たまにサーキットで乗って頂ける愛車になれれば幸いです ボルテックス代表　中嶋昭宏
