From where to get the CurseForge App to how to download and install CurseForge mods for Minecraft, this video covers everything that you need to know in order to play Minecraft using any mod you want on CurseForge. To get started, you will need to download the CurseForge App. There is a link in the description above to get CurseForge, but you can also Google CurseForge App download. On this page, click the “Download Standalone”, and the CurseForge Installer will begin downloading. Next, open the CurseForge installer you downloaded and go through the installation process. This is pretty easy. Just click “Next” a few times and make sure to not download the software when prompted at the end of the installation. CurseForge will open automatically when complete. From there, click on “Minecraft”, select Standard Installation, and click “Continue”. Now, Minecraft is ready within CurseForge. You can open start using Minecraft mods by clicking “Create” on the My Modpacks tab and naming your profile. Select the version of Minecraft you want and the Minecraft mod loader you want to use. Clicking “Create”, and you will now have a new profile that can be used for your mods. Clicking on the profile will take to where there is a “+ Add Content” button. Clicking this will allow you to start clicking “Install” on Minecraft mods. CurseForge will then download Minecraft mods, any dependencies that required, and make sure the mods are for the correct mod loader and Minecraft version. You can download as many Minecraft mods as you’d like. You can Share your mods via zip or via a share code if you login to CurseForge by right-clicking and selecting “Share” on the My Modpacks tab. . This makes sharing custom mod list with your friends super easy. Once you have your mods downloaded, you can hover over your Profile, click Play, and the Minecraft Launcher will open. You will need to login to Minecraft, and then click “Play” and “Play” again. Minecraft will now open with your CurseForge mods installed! There is a chance mods will conflict and not work together. If that happens, you can turn off mods by going back to your installation and toggling the conflicting mod off. This will remove it and make it not active. You can also remove it from your mods list entirely. At this point though, you now know how to download and install CurseForge mods in Minecraft!
