Billboard, February 28, 1942 The bill opens with the Lime Trio, a grand pantomimic act, in which two of the three lads bring on a supposed dummy in a case who goes through a myriad of contortionistic movements. Billboard, October 17, 1942 ... the Lime Trio in their age-old golliwogg novelty. The Limes havent't changed an arm movement, but the turn is still fresh and entertaining. The muscle-control work of the contortionistic partner is still tops. Billboard, May 15, 1943 The Lime Trio with their pantomimic comedy, were a hit from the time they took the „dummy" out of the box. Patrons ate up the rubber-jointed antics of the trio, with boys having to beg off.
