♦️🗣THE PRICE I PAID FOR SPEAKING UP AT👤♦️ ​My professional journey with Bloomberg L.P. began in 2014. After years of dedicated work, I was proud to be headhunted in 2019 by Ms. A. Roberts, the Head of Security Technology and Operations in New York, a department that reported directly to John Brennan, who was responsible for Michael Bloomberg’s security detail. ​In January 2024, my career and my sense of self were shattered. I reported ongoing harassment and exclusion from my team leader, and within a week, I was offered a financial exit package and an NDA to simply walk away and remain silent. I refused. I knew I had done nothing wrong, and I was unwilling to be silenced. ​My refusal was met with a swift and cruel backlash. I was immediately subjected to a campaign of psychological abuse—gaslighting, malicious gossip, and deliberate sabotage. My dignity was systematically stripped away. I was put on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) without cause, and my work was deliberately undermined. I was yelled at in the office and set up to fail at every turn. ​The relentless targeting and manipulation from management and an HR manager took a devastating toll.
