Sahaj Parav-the root music festival is a fruit of that urge to go back to the richness and diversity embedded in the cultural fabric of this nation. Sahaj Parav will bring to the fore the traditional culture and customs showcasing the artistic vibrancy of the sub-continent. The festival will strive to foster a harmony in this cultural milieu and create an appreciation for the identity of who we are. In its debut year we will bring performing arts from myriad fields through ethnic and folk groups to one platform to showcase, enthral, enliven and evolve. The vision of the festival is to preserve our rich heritage as much it is to entertain. Sahaj Parav is a non-profitable collective effort to bring on one platform different cultural traditions and performing arts with the aim to create a knowledge hub. This festival in future will become the epicentre for all folk and ethnic art forms to converge, mix and evolve. We will transcend boundaries and spread wings to form a global network highlighting the root-arts from this part of the world and learning from cultures across the seas.
