In this video we go exploring for the overexposed crash site of the B-29 Super-Fortress that tragically crashed on Bleaklow Hill 3rd November 1948. 13 people sadly lost their lives in this tragic, routine flight. The wreckage still lies scattered across the hill and has been left in place. There is a memorial stone on the site. As it is more of a living memorial, visitors are reminded to leave the site as it is, with no momentos taken away. Whilst there are sad reminders of what happened, it is still a must visit site when in the Peak District. #bleaklow #peakdistrict #usaf #b29 #superfortress
