Here's a breakdown of what we'll talk about: ISOTONIC: Think: "I SO want to stay here!" -With isotonic solutions, there is a proper balance of water and solutes. It's the same osmotic pressure inside and outside of the cell. -Isotonic solutions don't cause fluid to shift inside or outside of the cell.
