Well guys, Event Number 1 with FL KBN (South Region) is now in the books. I ran into FOMO on this one as I was going to skip it to prepare for the bass lunker's championship event.. I ended up signing up last minute and this is the result haha. We ended up using the swim jig for the most part all day. I did branch out and try a few other baits, however, when things slowed down.. the swim jig still seemed to be the most productive bait I had tied on. I ran about a miles worth of water but there was one section about half a mile wide, that seemed to be holding them. This is the hill I chose to die on for the day as I never left it.. We ended up making a key cull in the last 30 minutes to finally hit the 80'' mark. All in all, it was a great day on a new lake for me. The bite did seem tough as the winning bag was lower 90s.. surprised nobody hit the 100' mark. That is pretty much it guys, I hope you enjoy the video! Stay tuned & Tight Lines!
