After what felt like unprecedented levels of rumour and speculation in the run up to the 2025 autumn Budget, the chancellor finally delivered her speech on 26th November - not before the Office for Budget Responsibility mistakenly revealed key details. To digest some of the key announcements around pensions and ISAs Octo's John Lappin caught up with Andrew Tully, technical services director at Nucleus. Andrew said the speculation this year felt like it was on steroids with pretty much every tax possible being discussed over the past couple of months. "I guess the positives were we didn't see any of the catastrophic changes to pensions," he added. But with lots of bits and pieces being looked at - around 80 different measures - and a lack of consistency around them - have things just got more complex for advisers and clients to navigate?
