They chose an extremely beautiful name for their community from Psalm 118/22: "The stone that the builders rejected, has become the Cornerstone". (Rosh Pina in Hebrew = Cornerstone) The small town struggled in a hostle environment untill Baron Rothchild agreed to help. Under the Baron's administrartion the town grew and thrived. Eventually Rosh Pina fulfilled the words of the Psalmist and became the Cornerstone of the Galilee. Today Rosh Pina is a picturesque quaint town, with art galeries cafe's and a hip atmosphere.
