Yes, the Great North Run is the headline event, but... A whole weekend of events kicked off with the wonderful Great North 5k on the Friday night! A fast, flat and hugely run route along the Newcaslte and Gateshead quayside, taking in both the Swing and Millenium Bridge and running past the Sage, Baltic, Tyne Bridge and various other landmarks! You'll see from the get go that the vibes were sky high with this one. So much so that I had to shout to be heard over the background noise! You guys don't mind though, do you? After all, I'm at my happiest when deep in the mix, surrounded by people and loving every footstep! Big thanks to Nissan for inviting me along!
