MY INSTAGRAM @lindentrescott   / lindentrescott   This vlog is from AAPES Jump Off 2019! If you were not aware, AAPES stands for the Australian academy of parkour, exercise and self defence. AAPES is the biggest parkour gym in Australia with three different locations, two in Sydney and one in the Gold Coast. Every year on the queens birthday long weekend AAPES holds Jump Off which is Australia’s largest parkour and freerunning event which is also free to attend. At Jump Off there are training workshops, competitions in skill, speed and style for both intermediate and advanced levels, all day long jam sessions, and international athletes that fly to Australia for the event. This was my first year going to Jump Off, and it was such an awesome and inspiring time. I travelled down to Sydney with the rest of the Newcastle Parkour crew and documented just some of the jumps and shenanigans that occurred over the four days. 2019 is my first year of properly training parkour and freerunning and I am stoked to train and progress in the sport.
