If there is one activity not to miss on any trip to Vietnam, it’s taking a cookery class. I cannot recommend this one with the Hoi An Cookery School highly enough. Vietnamese food is a treat for the eyes and the palate & learning how to cook these intricate dishes was a real treat. But before we got to experience all these delicious flavours, we got a tour of the market to buy our ingredients & a trip through a coconut grove riding in boats made out of baskets. This was one of the most surreal moments ever in all my travels…which part of the tour would you enjoy most? In Hoi An I stayed at the Hoi An Ancient House Resort & Spa. It was a short walk from the centre of Hoi An but a beautiful resort with pool, tropical gardens, fantastic staff & a 2for1 happy hour on cocktails!
