Learn the letter E with Stutterbugg in this ABC 123 learning for toddlers videos series, part of my learning video for kids playlist. Join Rob as he searches and learns about the letter. This fun and interactive series is perfect for kids and toddlers who need to learn their alphabet letters. Chapters: 00:00 Introduction 01:41 Learning about and Making an elephant out of the letter E 08:38 Words that start with the letter E 09:17 Recap and Ending Oh, hey, it's me, Rob, from Stutterbug. And I'm just out here on the African savannah. Yeah, there are so many great animals out here, oh, but it's really hot! Hey, do you want to search for animals with me? You do? Okay, let's see what we can find. Oh, look, that looks like a zebra. Oh, that's so cool. Oh, look over there, that looks like a lion. Oh yeah, how about that one with a really long neck? Oh, that must be a giraffe. Oh, wait, look at the back. Hey, what kind of animal is that? That looks like an elephant? I love elephants! Hey, do you know what letter elephant starts with? It starts with the letter E? Hey, do you want to draw the letter E with me? Okay, the letter E has one long straight line, just like that, and then three shorter lines that connect to it; one, two, three. Yeah, just like that. Good job! Before I came here, I stopped at the mysterious alphabet forest to see if I could find the letter E, and do you know what I found? I found the letter E! Well, since I already found the letter E, let's head over and see if we can make an elephant out of the letter E. Okay? I'll see you guys there. Bye! Hi everyone, let's make an elephant out of the letter E. Okay, the first thing I need to do is I need to get some pink paper because we're going to make a pink elephant. Did you know that the colour pink wasn't always associated with girls? Yeah, for the first half of the 19th century, it was known as more of a masculine colour. Well, it wasn't till after world war II that it was associated with little girls, isn't that cool? Okay, now I just have to finish cutting this out. Perfect! Elephants are the world's largest land animal. They can reach 10 feet high, which is 3 meters, and weigh up to 13 tons, which is six tones. That's really heavy, and that's really big! In the wild, elephants can live up to 60 to 70 years. There are two species of elephants. There's the African elephant, and there's the Asian elephant. The way you can tell them apart is by their ears. African elephants have really big ears, where Asian elephants have little ears. Another way to tell them apart is by their trunk. An African elephant has two fingers at the tip of its trunk, where the Asian elephant only has one. An elephant trunk is pretty awesome. Did you know there are a hundred and fifty thousand muscles found in the trunk alone? Yeah, it's probably one of the most sensitive organs found on any mammal. Asian elephants are known to pick up peanuts and eat them with their trunk. Yeah, that's pretty awesome! Elephants use their trunk to suck up water, and they can also use them as a snorkel when they're swimming. Elephants are super relational, and they travel in herds. They can even communicate over vast distances like miles or kilometres, and its true elephants don't forget. Their temporal lobe, or the part that's associated with memory, is really, really big and denser than ours, so they have a much better memory than we do. An elephant's tusks are actually teeth. Yeah, and they appear in an elephant around two years old. They use them to peel off the bark and dig up roots and also defend themselves against other animals. Unfortunately, their tusks, as beautiful as they are, make the elephants endangered because people want to take them from them, which isn't very nice. Elephants have really thick skin, and they can even get sunburns. That's why they have to take regular dust and mud baths. It helps protect their skin from the sun. Elephants eat a lot of food! They spend most of their day eating. An elephant can eat up to 300 pounds, or 150 kilograms, of food per day. Whoa, wasn't this episode chock full of goodness? Yeah, we learned so much about the letter E and elephants. Hey, do you remember what we learned? We learned that this is an uppercase E, and this is a lowercase E. We also learned that the letter E makes an E sound like an engine or elf or egg or elephants. Well, if you like this episode and you want to learn more about letters, or see more fun educational videos, make sure you subscribe to my channel, and I'll see you guys really soon. Bye!
