Zenabis Global Inc (CVE:ZENA) (FRA:2VV) CEO Andrew Grieve explains how the company brought together an experienced cannabis company, Sun Pharm, and a successful propagation company, Bevo Agro, when the two entities merged last fall. Zenabis has production facilities in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia. The company’s objective is to be among the largest players in the space. Grieve anticipates achieving this goal when the company’s 480 tons of production capacity is operational in 2020. Zenabis has supply agreements with 6 provinces and is currently experiencing a rapid growth phase. Zenabis recently acquired 51 percent of Hillsboro Corp Inc (“True Buch”), a beverage company known for True Buch Kombucha, in anticipation of the legalization of edible products.
