International Anton Rubinstein Competition Double Bass 2022 Prize 5: Dmytro Rudyk, Ukraine Giovanni Bottesini: Concerto h-moll no. 2 (1,2 mov) Stefano Scodanibbio: “Sei Studi” (1.Joke 4.Faraway) Born on August 3, 2000 in Ukraine.  He studied violin at a music school, and from the age of 13 he played the double bass.  Since 2015, he studied at the Ternopil Music College.  Then, in 2019, he began studying at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.   During the period of his professional musical development, he won prizes at national music competitions in the cities of Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro).  Participated in master classes of Carl FleschAkademie in Banden Baden, Rhodius Akademie and Master clases in Weimar with Wies de Boeve, DorinMarc, Janne Saksala, Christine Hoock, GunarsUpatnieks, Michinori Bunya, Dan Styffe, Petru Iuga.  He had solo concerts with orchestras of Ukraine, performed in the Baden Baden Philharmonic and had concerts in chamber ensembles of various composition.
