Happy cooking! 🍳👨🍳👩🍳 Ingredients: Chicken (500 grams) sliced into 1 inch x 1 inch cubes Onion (125g whole- 60-70g chopped weight/ 1 large) chopped into petals Capsicum (150g whole- 60-70g chopped weight/ 1 large) large diced Garlic cloves (2 tablespoons/ 20g /4 cloves) -finely chopped White pepper powder (½ teaspoon) to marinate the chicken White pepper powder (½ teaspoon) to prepare the gravy Sesame seed (½ teaspoon) optional Black pepper powder (½ teaspoon) to marinate the chicken Black pepper powder (½ teaspoon) to prepare the gravy Salt (½ teaspoon) to marinate the chicken Ginger paste (½ teaspoon) Oyster sauce (½ teaspoon) Garlic paste (½ teaspoon) Egg (1 pcs) Corn flour (4 tablespoons) to marinate the chicken Corn flour (4 teaspoons) -mixed with 4 teaspoon water-for thickening the gravy All-purpose flour (1 tablespoon) Sugar (1 teaspoon) Soy sauce (½ teaspoon) to marinate the chicken Soy sauce (1 teaspoon) to prepare the gravy Chili sauce (1 teaspoon) Oil (4 tablespoons) -for frying the chicken Sesame seed oil (2 tablespoons) Ketchup (1 cup /270g) Vinegar (1 teaspoon) to marinate the chicken Vinegar (1 teaspoon) to prepare the gravy Spring onion-white part only (45g /4-5 stems) chopped into thin rounds Slicing & Dicing: Slice the chicken (500 grams) 1-inch x 1-inch cubes Chop the Capsicum (150g whole- 60-70g chopped weight/ 1 large) large diced Chop the garlic cloves (2 tablespoons/ 20g /4 cloves) -finely chopped Chop the onion (125g raw- 60-70g chopped weight/ 1 large) chopped into petals Chop the spring onion-white part only (45g /4-5 stems) chopped into thin rounds Preparation: Take the egg and whisk it and keep aside Now take a large bowl and put the chicken inside Now add the Salt ½ teaspoon, Black pepper powder ½ teaspoon, White pepper powder ½ teaspoon, Ginger paste ½ teaspoon, Garlic paste ½ teaspoon, Vinegar 1 teaspoon and Soy sauce ½ teaspoon Now mix using your hands and let rest for 10 minutes Now add the whisked egg 1 pcs and mix with your hands Now add the Corn flour (4 tablespoons) and all-purpose flour (1 tablespoon) and mix with your hands Now take a fresh bowl to prepare the sauce and put Sugar 1 teaspoon, Black pepper powder ½ teaspoon, White pepper powder ½ teaspoon, Chili sauce 1 teaspoon, Vinegar 1 teaspoon, Soy sauce 1 teaspoon, Oyster sauce ½ teaspoon and Ketchup 1 cup (270g) Now take the corn flour (4 teaspoons) and make a slurry using 4 teaspoon water and keep it on a side for later use Cooking: Now put 4 tablespoon oil in the frying pan and bring to heat at medium flame When the oil is hot then add the chicken to the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes each side or until golden brown After chicken is cooked take it out of the pan and put it aside for later use Now using the same pan put 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil and bring to heat at medium flame Now add the chopped garlic to the pan and fry for 30 seconds Now add the chopped onion, spring onion and the capsicum to the pot and sauté for 1 minute Now make the flame low - medium and add the sauce mixture along with 1 cup water and mix the contents Now bring the mixture to a boil and when it starts bubbling then add the fried chicken and mix the pot Now cook for 20-30 seconds Now add the corn flour slurry gradually 1 tablespoon at a time and stir and check the thickness of the gravy, add more if needed Now keep cooking until desired thickness of the gravy is achieved Now turn off the flame Serving: Serve with plain rice Garnish with sesame seeds (optional) Bon appetit Time Stamp: 00:00 Introduction 00:10 Ingredients 01:01 Slicing & Dicing 02:57 Preparation 04:06 Cooking 05:40 Serving #chickenmanchurian #indochinese #chickendinner #flavorfulsauce #chinesefood #asianfusion #saucydelights #cookingtutorial
