#vocaloid #vocalsynth #vflower #kaaiyuki heard this song got popular all of a sudden so decided to give it a try 🫡🫡 as always, please keep in mind that im not saying my translations are 100% accurate, i'm not completely fluent in jp even though i have experience with it!! you're more than free to correct me if i'm wrong, just pls be nice. pls be nice [ TRANSLATION NOTES ] (0:12) the characters that are used here can be translated as something like "flattery" or basically compliments that are obviously fake or "sickeningly sweet". so i went with "fake laugh" (0:32) the kanji here has a lot of meanings, like "biased", "inferiority complex", "jealous", basically it's something bad haha. i decided to go with "biased" because the next lyric is also about envy/jealousy, and i thought it'd be too repetitive if that makes sense. (0:39) more literally, "is it bad that i'm good at pretending?" (0:56) is generally supposed to refer to something being unstable, shaking, vibrating, etc. (1:13) yes, "-san" is a gender-neutral honorific. i'm not misgendering hatred (and later happiness) i swear, this is all just for the sake of translation, i swear lol (1:18) can you tell that i was going insane here. i-i just went with the most literal translation i could do. i thought of translating mush as something like "syrup" but i feel like it fits the best.. basically it's about something that's sticky, clear and not clouded/muddy. (2:12) more literally (two), "i want happiness that will never end/disappear/diminish" (2:38) more literally (three), "without any pretense, without any innocence". some other meanings for the innocence part i've found were "acting innocent" and "acting childlike", so i think "play dumb" fits well. (2:45) i wanted to translate it as "picked me up" at first, but then i checked the kanji and it specifically said that it means "scooping something up", like water, for example? basically, taking some kind of object/substance/etc. (2:49) yuki here is talking about being "insufficient" or "not having enough". basically, she's talking about being so pathetic that someone pitied her and was nice to her. (3:08) a more literal translation would probably be smth like "and nobody tells me where to find it" (also i forgot to add the producer's name on the thumbnail as i usually do. i am so sorry bro it's so late where i live)
