This place is located just west of Lone Pine California. best known for its interesting rock formations, beautiful views of the Eastern Sierra and Mt.Whitney. It is also known as one of the largest movie sets in the world. Hundreds of Movie shows have been shot here, including Django Unchained, Ironman and Gladiator.  Reward Mines from US 395 we made a right turn on Manzanar Reward Rd. This trail begins just across one of Manzanar War Relocation Centers. I recommend that you air down for this trail. First few miles is a very easy dirt road then as you get closer it gets a little sandy. towards the end of the trail it gets rocky and rutted out.
