The study for the genesis of the new Beva 371 Akron | subtitled in English | Wednesday, September 24, 2025 | CTS CONSERVATION presented by Leonardo Borgioli Beva 371 is the most well-known adhesive in the field of cultural heritage conservation, originally formulated by Gustav Berger in the 1970s. In 2021, the project “Reformulating Beva 371” was launched, supported by the Getty Foundation and coordinated by the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University, with the crucial contribution of the Department of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering at the University of Akron. CTS Conservation also took part in the study as the manufacturing company.
