NOT UNREAL U GOT SCAMMED Enjoyment: 8/10 Time Taken: 5 hours LOL THUMBNAIL BY ‪@dodalk‬ Aight first things first i want to just apologise for the quality of this video. Usually when I'm grinding a tower I will learn it properly so i can go at a decently fast pace for a more enjoyable video for you guys to watch. This isn't the case in this video and I was going extremely slow the entire time, which will probably make this quite a harder watch compared to my other videos. I did re-record the first 5 floors to try and make it better. Reason the gameplay is pretty sloppy is because this was literally one of my first times past floor 5. This was one of the luckiest flukes I've ever had on a tower. For those of you who aren't too experienced with ToIG, just know that floor 10 equates to roughly 50% of the tower's dificulty, and I didn't fail it a single time. I had only 3 runs past floor 6 - failing at floor 9, then 7, and then beating the tower. I honestly can't say I'm too surprised because I was boasting a lot about how I felt like i was gonna fluke the tower, but it is not a common occurrence at all for me to actually fluke things. I guess it is deserved after the tragedy that was my ToCC grind tho. As for ToIG itself, it's actually really fun. Probably the most enjoyable higher end horrific I've played, though I'm sure that's due to my aforementioned fluke. Floors 1-3 can be quite boring but the later floors are genuinely really fun to go through, as I've stated countless times that classic and linear gameplay is always my favourite form of gameplay in towers. It's also super punishing so the nerves are way worse which is super fun lol. The tower is horribly carried by spikes, however. With the two most notable areas being the wallhops at 5:15, and the wallhops on the final stretch which im so grateful i did first try: 25:45. Overall tho, very fun experience. I recommend it to anyone at the skill level. The reason i wasn't going to post this was because somebody else had already been playing the tower for a couple months before I decided to try it, with them apparently having failed the final floor over 30 times, and people were getting angry at me for trying to "snipe" them, despite me being the first person to make progress on this tower, reaching floor 6 before it was even added to the game. I stated that if i were to beat the tower first I wouldn't claim the verification and let them take it, but this didn't stop me being met with nothing but criticism and distaste the moment i beat the tower, which otherwise should've been a pretty exciting moment for the community. It does disappoint me how toxic this community can be sometimes, because regardless of whether or not you think i "sniped" someone's verification, i still beat it legitimately and the tower has always been available for the public for anyone to play whenever they want. This whole idea of "gatekeeping" verifications for somebody just because they have progress has always felt quite silly. I was never given that courtesy when I was grinding ToEV, CoIV or ToSF, and even worse I faced constant backlash and harassment upon me not being the verifier of ToSF, yet in this situation where I've gone out of my way to try and be as respectful as possible, apparently im the bad guy LOL. Know from now on that I do not care in the slightest about "sniping" grinds. A bit off topic but I fully believe I could've verified way more towers, such as ToID and IKEA, if i didnt go out of my way to be nice to people, and the first time I try doing something DESPITE SHOWING WAY MORE RESPECT THAN ANYONE ELSE WOULD BTW i get criticised. Aight enough cringe ranting i already wrote way more than i wanted to, but beating a peak horrific and getting nothing but hate thrown my way for basically no reason is so distasteful. tldr this community sux LEL GROW UP (me and the other grinder are friends btw theres no beef between us two, just other people for some reason) My Top 14 Achievements: 1.
