CHP, Riverside Office responded do a reported traffic collision. When they arrived they found one semi and one car with the driver of the car ejected in the roadway. In the video you can see part of the top of the car that hit the semi, stuck to the rear end of the semi truck. There is a NOS canister near the car at the scene, it is unclear if the driver was using the NOS at the time of the crash, that is still being investigated. The driver of the semire was parked on the side of the road when the car for unknown reasons veered into the rear end of it and then flew about 100 ft down the freeway ejecting the driver. The crash remains under investigation. A SIG Alert was issued at 4:33 and at 6:37 is still in place. No other injuries were reported, the driver of the car was a single occupant in the vehicle.
