Over the weekend a Trump-supporting right-wing christofascist named Vance Boelter assassinated Democratic lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband in their Minnesota home, and critically wounded another state lawmaker and his wife in their home. Boelter’s roommate says he supported Trump, disliked Democrats, and consumed right-wing media. Still, this hasn’t stopped right-wingers from spreading the most outrageous lies imaginable about Boelter’s motivations. Many are falsely claiming Boelter’s a leftist, while others are saying he was an “associate” of Tim Walz and have subsequently called for an investigation—and outright arrest—of Walz in response. These conservatives, including Senator Mike Lee, are knowingly lying for political purposes, and in this video we’ll talk about why we should no longer tolerate these shameless lies from fascist agents of disinformation.
