RJ45 Crimping Cat6A Ethernet Cable Failure. When crimping a Cat 6A cable, because of the thicker AWG 23 wires, you need to use the loader bar provided to align the RJ45 connector and the cables as seen in the video. The solid color wires go above and the half white color go below. I show you the RJ45 Type B color code. There is also the Type A and you might need to use type A in some situations but most of the crimping should be done with type B. When I pressed the wires into the RJ45 connector, I didn’t see that the wires didn’t go all the way thru into the connector and this was not a pass thru Ethernet connector. With pass thru it would be easier to check correct wire order and pass thru. I installed the new cable by pulling the new Cat 6A Ethernet cable using the old cable in conduit to replace a Cat5E cable with Cat6A. This is a really easy way to upgrade your Ethernet cables in the conduit to Cat 6A or Cat 7 Ethernet cables. Crimping Ethernet cables at home I need to test new Cat 6A Ethernet cables RJ45 crimping to make sure all the twisted pairs connections are good and the ground is connected between Ethernet devices. I did a few speed tests to compare Wi-Fi 6 vs Wi-Fi 7 6Ghz MLO on 2.5G Cat 5E vs Cat 6A LAN Speed Test. I Tested LAN Speed Wi-Fi to Cat5E 2.5G Ethernet Cable using iPerf Wi-Fi 6 vs Wi-Fi 7 6Ghz MLO. The Cat5E cable can run 2.5G Ethernet without problems. I checked the Wi-Fi 7 and Ethernet 2.5Gb via Cat 5E cable. The Cat5E cable can even run 10Gb Ethernet on short distances unofficially. The router I use is ASUS RT-BE92U and it supports 3 Wi-Fi bands 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz and 1 Wan/Lan 10Gb Ethernet and multiple 2.5Gb Ethernet ports. WiFi Repeater https://ionmade.com/wifi-repeater Tested the LAN Ethernet to WiFi 7 speed before upgrading Ethernet cables from Cat5E to Cat6A. There is also an older Huawei router acting as a Wi-Fi access point but the speed is nowhere near the Wi-Fi 7 MLO speed on the ASUS RT-BE92U and iPad Pro M5 combination even without upgrading the Cat5E Ethernet cables.
