Police looking for driver who hit man crossing street in Ballard, then left him to die

Seattle police are looking for a driver who hit a man who was crossing a street in Ballard and then left him to die. The victim was found lying on 15th Ave NW near 73rd St when officers arrived around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the 56-year-old man apparently parked his car on 15th and was trying to cross the street from west to east when he was hit by a car heading south.
