Hiking in Medellín - Cerro Quitasol | Trail Running | DJI Mavic Pro - Drone 4K

A nearby hike in Medellín up Cerro Quitasol. The hike begins near the metro station Niquía. It is an intense hike with great views of the city. The hike up is steep with difficult footing due to the geologic tilt of the bedrock. For a fit and frequent hiker, it should take 2 hours up and 1 hour down. Account for more time as you are at altitude, bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Supposedly the hike can be completed in a circuit. Once arriving at the top heading towards the right will connect you to another path down the in the valley back towards the Station. How to arrive: Take the Metro to Niquia Station. From there head along the Exito and follow the path towards the Hospital. Keep Heading towards the mountain straight ahead. You have to take some paths through the neighbourhood.
