Ingredients: • 0.5 kg pork liver • 3 onions • Flour • Olive oil • Butter • Salt • Sugar • Pepper Instructions: 1. Slice the onions into thin strips (feather-like), and sauté them in a pan with a generous splash of olive oil and a dab of butter. As the onions begin to soften and turn golden, sweeten them with a teaspoon of sugar to bring out their natural flavors. 2. Prepare the liver by cutting it into strips. In a separate pan, heat up some olive oil and fry the liver until it’s browned on all sides. Once it’s perfectly cooked, season with salt and pepper to taste. 3. Combine the sautéed onions with the liver in the pan, letting the flavors mingle for a moment before removing from the heat. Serve immediately, preferably alongside fluffy potatoes and a refreshing sauerkraut salad. Alternatively, this dish is equally delicious when paired with fresh, crusty bread for a more rustic experience. Enjoy!
