ANSYS ACP: Lay-up Mapping of a Composite Spring

This video demonstrates the lay-up mapping capability of ANSYS Composite PrepPost (ACP) using a full cross-section composite spring. The lay-up for the model is made of 45 layers, a core, and a unidirectional roving that follows the helical shape of the spring. ANSYS Mechanical software is a comprehensive FEA analysis (finite element) tool for structural analysis, including linear, nonlinear and dynamic studies.
