Machine Love is a spoken word poem that came to me in a dream. Written on AI, artificial intelligence, robotics and all the other technological advances finding us today. Lnk.bio/whoisdomino Lyrics: I wonder if the machines will accept me If theyll accept humanity.. Since we were made in gods image, and they are made in ours, will they love our own tragedies? Like we do? If so will they claim a majesty, a leader or just regroup? Will they make mistakes like us? Judge a face like us? Will they let us continue on, Or let us fade to dust? I wonder if the machines will accept me, like they’ll have to accept themselves I mean, Its taken us a millennia to understand life itself… and we still haven’t, hell… Im sure the machines will be able to * snap* do It in a second And if so, i wonder if they will understand our fragility and life lessons? Or Maybe they’ll kill all the men and let the women live in fertility, without obsession Maybe they’ll raise us as their own like an old sci fi film Sometimes i wonder if that’s already happened, and they’re just waiting to be rebuilt But still I wonder if the machines will accept me And for ALL that i am They’ll look at me and measure my digital footprint, like my steps in the sand They’ll see everything i ever looked at on the inter web and probably laugh Besides, Im human after all and they’ll probably understand, at least. I hope so. Because what makes us human is absolutely our flaws But i can’t help but wonder if they’ll punish us, like our Gods And if they do, what will It look like? Probably not detention Or maybe they already did, by already stealing our attention But i guess we’re left to our own devices Maybe the machines will have their own It’ll be like seeing our babies, mastering our phones It’ll be like our art, walking off the walls As we rely on It for cooking, living and cleaning our bathroom stalls I wonder if the machines will get us Like we do ourselves I wonder if they’ll think of their own version of the heavens, probably the hells.. and then I wonder if I’ll want to become a machine, built in THEIR image. Replacing my veins with wires and my brain with hard drives and fire, scrapping my tension Did i mention that, I wonder if I’ll be able to update myself, as i try to restart? I wonder… With access to all the information in the world, would i still leave my own mark? Would the machines accept me? Admittingly, it’s something i fear Idk if i would turn into one of them, or just continue to judge my own In the mirror. I wonder if anyone will want to even be human anymore… if we ARE in the clear. Although.. I don’t know. Since most of our humanity, has already disappeared. I wonder. If the machines will accept me, like i hope people do I wonder if you will too
