Hello everyone, my name is Sisi. You can call me Sisi Laoshi. In today's lesson we will talk about how to use Completion particle le 了 and suggestion particle ba 吧 in Chinese. The particle le 了 has a number of different uses. One of the most common is to express the completion or occurrence of an action. 我去商店了。Wǒ qù shāngdiàn le. I went to the shop. The negation form is 没méi + verb + (object) + 了le 她没去商店。Tā méiqù shāngdiàn. She didn’t go to the shop. The particle 吧 (ba) has a number of different uses. Here we'll talk about the simplest way to use 吧 (ba): making suggestions. When 吧 used in the end of an imperative sentence , the model particle 吧 indicate a suggestion or command with a softened mood. 我们明天去打网球吧。Wǒmen míngtiān qù dǎ wǎngqiú ba. We go to play tennis tomorrow.(suggestion)
