Asif Basra is an actor possessing so much of talent. He has a spark for acting. He is an Indian television, film and theater actor. His career started in 2001, and he is working to date. His dedication and devotion can make anyone admire his personality. He also conducts workshops for theater and is a theater facilitator. Asif is acting since his school time in class tenth. In his college days, he was a highly popular actor for plays and grabbed many awards. Surprisingly Asif is a graduate from the science background and was well settled in his job. But his studies and job couldn’t create distance between him and acting. He spent much of salary on watching plays and during this routine his life took another positive turn for him. He met Salim Ghouse and got a chance to portray his talent in the play Hamlet in the role of Horatio. Other English plays performed by him are Merchant Of Venice. His most appreciable performance was in the play Mahatma v/s Gandhi produced by Feroz Khan. In this, he played five characters. Another performance of Asif Basra is in Main Bhi Superman in which he played a role of 12-year-old child suffering from Spina Bifida. Some of his works include Quicksand and Black Friday in 2003.
