Non considerano gli altri animali come compagni con cui convivere, ma come cose da utilizzare e buttare via subito dopo. Il cavallo è la specie che più di tutte subisce questa cultura, che ha poco di naturale e molto di antropocentrico. Quasi mai il cavallo è considerato un amico, perché è sempre un "cavallo da": da trotto, da galoppo, da salto a ostacoli, da dressage, da scuola di equitazione, da carrozza, da circo...da macello: anche la stessa terminologia sottolinea che, nella considerazione media, non esiste come individuo, ma solo in base alla sua utilità. Non ha diritti. IHP è nata per tentare di favorire un cambiamento e per scuotere le coscienze della gente: è il nostro solenne impegno per gli equini, che con la loro delicatezza, la loro profondità e la loro fierezza ci hanno fatto diventare persone migliori. ------------------------------- (English version) Humans don't always learn easily what respect for life is. They don't consider other animals as companions with which to cohabit, but like things to use and throw away afterwards. Horses, more than other species, suffer from this culture, which has little that is natural and a lot that is anthropocentric. A horse is hardly considered a friend, because he is always a horse "to do something": trotting horse, racing horse, jumping horse, dressage horse, riding school horse, carriage horse, circus horse...slaughtering horse: the same terminology underlines that he doesn't exist as an individual in the average consideration, but only on his utility. He doesn't have rights. IHP was born to encourage a change and to shake consciences: it is our solemn commitment to equines, who make us better persons with their gentleness, their depth and their pride.
