INSIDE DHARAVI - The World's Most Crowded Slum 🇮🇳

Last November, I visited “Dharavi”, Asia's largest slum, located in the heart of the megacity of Mumbai in western India. In terms of area, it is considered the most densely populated slum in the world. I took you along for a day, through the narrow alleys, past the huge piles of trash, and into the harsh realities of life in the various businesses run by the people to survive there. It’s hard to believe when you consider that Mumbai is India’s financial hub and is considered its richest city - a city where around 90 billionaires live. I kept the video and interviews very simple to present the place as authentically as possible. I hope this video can give you a better insight into the lives of the local people and help us appreciate more what we have in our society, where we take everything for granted. The people who live here don’t seem to be any less happy than people in the privileged world. That should give us pause for thought.
