Hello all. Back at the beginning of my channel I reviewed the Mosky Deluxe Preamp and Mosky Amp turbo. It's up there with the most viewed videos on my channel and i believe it's because Mosky make some really great pedals. Another video series that has high views is videos about the American sound from Joyo. Again just a really brilliant pedal. Obviously Mosky make clones and the American sound is a clone but that aside both pedals serve their purpose extremely well for a ridiculous price point. So when mosky brought out the amp modeller pedals in a smaller enclosure I was really intrigued. I've realised over the last few years I narrowly prefer a Marshall clean sound to a Fender clean sound so I opted for the Classic M-shall. I've got to say. It's really outstanding. Its a clone of a Tech 21 British. So it models every marshall from a JTM 45 to a DSL100. In short it can get lovely clean sounds right up to saturated Marshall Sounds. I intend to use it on my travel rig as a backup if the house amp ever goes down or isn't to my taste. On this note, the Classic M-shall is super simple, one sound at a time, no screens, no menus and is 100% analog. Win Win Win In a situation where you only need one amp sound I really can't see why you would need any more than this. Which raiswes the question of advanced digital amp modelling. Do we actually need it at all? ________________________________________________________________________________________________ If You want to know more about Gain pedals in general check out this great new video course from Wampler where you can learn about all kinds of Gain pedals.
