This video is for the song “Out of My Mind” by WhoCares, released in 2011. The project was conceived to bring old friends Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi back into the studio together. It was created in support of rebuilding a music school in Armenia following the 1988 earthquake. The initiative was driven by the belief that music could heal and inspire future generations. The resulting line-up was exceptional, featuring members of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Metallica. The late Jon Lord’s involvement added particular depth and significance to the session. Two songs were recorded during these sessions: “Out of My Mind” and “Holy Water.” The original 7-inch single from 2011 quickly became a sought-after collector’s item. Both tracks were later included on a 2CD and 3LP compilation of rarities. A unique moment in rock history, born from friendship, purpose, and music.
