Unsurprisingly, they do not and a scale without a retractable bar does well in measure body composition as long as you take your measurements naked. The FitIndex does better with clothes on since it measure through your body rather than through just your feet. Hence, it does not appear to treat clothes as if it is fat. In terms of accuracy, I could not for sure say which one is more accurate but the take away would be to use each one and only compare metrics with the same scale. You should take your weight the same time of the day and with the same amount of clothes you have on.
