To celebrate the launch of its new D.D. Bag, and to highlight the special artisanal skills and craftsmanship involved in its construction, Tod's is pleased to announce the release of a 3D video that brings the story of this remarkable new bag to life. Based around the flight of a group of butterflies, symbols of profound metamorphosis, conceived by the Italian artist Mauro Seresini, the film charts the journey of these delicate insects as they visit Italy's most famous landmarks. In Venice, Tuscany, Capri and Rome's Piazza di Spagna and Pantheon they collect golden tools with which they will eventually assemble a beautiful D.D. Bag. It's a dreamy and romantic fantasy designed to express the artistry of Made in Italy that lies at the heart of Tod's leatherwork.
