Highland Cathedral by massed Pipe Bands at St Giles Cathedral prior 2025 Edinburgh Tartan Parade

The massed pipes and drums playing 'Highland Cathedral' in one giant playing circle outside St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. The bands were preparing to take part in the inaugural Edinburgh Tartan Parade, so joined together to entertain the crowds before the start of the parade. This fantastic event included numerous pipe bands, dancers, musicians, organisations, and individuals from across Scotland, helping to celebrate the country's rich heritage, tartans, culture and inclusivity. The parade set off from the Royal Mile and marched through the heart of Edinburgh, along Princes Street Gardens and ending at the The Mound.
