Finally, all currently-known demo / special / promotional disc video footage in one place with no skips or stutters! Captured directly from Wii console with S-video via my XCapture-1 capture card. Almost all of this footage is captured from physical discs, which is why there are not skips or stutters. Usually, when using emulator or an ISO, these videos tend to skip or freeze, so I wanted to capture them properly. Another bit of info is that these discs don't work with Progressive Scan at all, so native 480p console capture wasn't possible, which is why you're seeing interlaced 480i. This collection encompasses three different Japanese promotional discs, Game Taikai Yuushou Kinen: Tokusei SmaBro DX Movie Disc (Melee Gold Disc), and Dairantou Smash Brothers DX Jitsuen-you Demo (Nov 2001 Interactive Multi-Game Demo Disc), Pikmin Jitsuen-you Sample Disc (Pikmin Demo Disc), as well as a North American Super Smash Bros. Melee January 2002 Demo NTSC disc. The only footage I'm missing is anything on the SmaBro DX Event-you Disc (also known as the ultra rare blue Melee disc): http://sgadsale.seesaa.net/article/20... It lets you play 2, 3 or 5 minute matches and contains all characters except for Young Link, Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch, and Roy, and was likely used for early in-store tournaments. Thanks to Connor Rentz for this extremely helpful guide on every Melee ISO out there: https://www.deviantart.com/connorrent... Something not yet accounted for at all is the E3 build of Melee. If that ever gets leaked or released in some capacity, I would love to cover it. Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of this disc that would be willing to sell me their copy, or even just to talk about it, please do not hesitate to contact me! For the playable demo sections of this video, my bad for the subpar gameplay. I was playing with quite a bit of input lag from OBS (even for game demos I'll john about display lag). I also edited the GameCube reel to be much shorter and I replaced the music, as I got a copyright claim for "Team Spirit-14494 by Anthony Goddard, ASCAP|Ron Komie, BMI" when I uploaded the video unmodified initially. The music I replaced it with is the menu theme from the early GameCube Interactive Multi-Game Demo Discs. 00:00 - Title 00:05 - Beta Special Movie 10:56 - Commercials 12:00 - GameCube Promo Reel (Cut) 13:06 - Opening Movie (E3) 14:45 - Opening Movie (Final) 16:25 - How to Play 17:48 - Adventure Demo 25:23 - VS.
