NBC Intro to the show 0:00 Can you feel it 1:24 Blame it on the boogie 5:20 Jackson 5 Medley ( I want your back 8:53 ABC 9:50 The love you save 10:26 Dancing machine 11:24 ) Never can say good bye 13:49 I’ll be there 14:54 NBC introduces the Jacksons band and interviews Jackie and Marlon 17:43 Rock with you 19:40 NBC Countdown to midnight in Dallas 23:22 NBC Intro to This place hotel 23:36 This place hotel 24:05 The Lone Star NYE 2025 show was pre-taped in Dallas, Texas on december 5th and aired at 11:30 pm on december 31st, 2024 on NBC Dallas Fort Worth, and selected NBC stations around the US. On NBC DFW, most songs aired before the countdown at midnight, then there was a 10 min fireworks show from the Reunion Tower in Dallas, then The Jacksons came back on with one last song, "This place hotel". The usual setlist for a Jacksons concert is as follows: Can you feel it Blame it on the boogie Rock with you Enjoy yourself Show you the way to go Lovely One J5 medley (ABC, The love you save, Dancing Machine, Never can say goodbye) I’ll be there Love One Another Can’t let her get away Heartbreak Hotel Shake your body down to the ground (Occasional encore: Wanna be startin' somethin') Some of these songs were rehearsed (such as "Show you the way to go") and even performed on december 5th, but didn't air on the NBC Dallas feed on New Year's Eve. It appears that "Shake your body" was taped and aired on some stations around the country, while the fireworks at the Reunion Tower in Dallas was being shown on the local NBC in Dallas. Some songs were even taped twice (Can you feel it, I'll be there) with different costumes and background, to be aired on different TV stations. It's unclear how many songs were taped and then cut for time. Because I recorded the NBC Dallas feed, I don't have the other songs that may have been shown elsewhere in the US. The band members for this special performance were : Jackie Jackson Marlon Jackson Haydon Eshun (lead and background) TJ Wilkins (lead and background, replacing Taryll Jackson) Stacey Lamont (drums) Kyle Bolden (guitar) Brandon Brown aka Pastor Funk (bass) Tommy O (guitar, replacing Tito Jackson) Billy Wes (keyboard) According to Taj Jackson, his brother Taryll took a break from performing with the Jacksons after the tribute concerts to his father in Atlantic City, NJ and Cleveland, OH.
