Moana Tribute | Call of the Ocean

A tribute to Moana, another modern classic among Disney's many beautifully animated movies. This was another movie I didn't see until a couple years after it was released, and while I don't have as much of a connection to it as other Disney properties, I still thoroughly enjoy the story it tells even if it is a rather simplistic one. Obviously the animation quality itself is a big positive to me, the way the ocean moves feels so realistic and I believe this movie played a big part in moving us towards scenes like we have in Frozen 2 with the dark sea. I love the groundwork this movie was able to set with animation and now seeing the results improved upon in movies like Frozen 2 and Raya and the Last Dragon I'm looking forward to seeing how they will improve even more going forward. I guess I should also mention that the music is great as well, though with Disney that's rarely not the case. With that said I hope you enjoy the video, it got a little delayed due to my schoolwork taking priority but what are you gonna do. Just a few more weeks and I'll be free, but in the meantime I'll probably be watching some more Disney movies to pass the time.
