I need to continue to work towards getting enough of the RHD FD RX-7 back together so that it can be driven. In order to make that happen, I need to start by making the last repairs and clean up of the center console, parking brake (e-brake), and shifter so they can go back into the car. A lot of my components in the center console are damaged from normal wear and tear and some fire damage as well. I picked up some good used replacement trim pieces and some Alcantara covers and boots from Redline Goods to customize the interior. In this video, I dive into cleaning and rebuilding the parking brake handle which has its fair share of issues. After disassembly and a thorough cleaning, I install the new Alcantara handle cover.
