POV ski run through Patrol Chute in Spaulding Bowl at Copper Mountain. I dropped in and immediately noticed a pair of lost skis and poles sitting near the entrance of the chute. Rather than leave them, I picked them up and carried them down to return them to their owner. That meant skiing expert terrain through rocks and a narrow chute without being able to use my poles. I even clipped a couple rocks right at the top, so it turned into a pretty interesting run trying to keep control while holding someone else’s gear.
