In this video we are in the The Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog) Staying at the Cwym du campsite where we started our hike we headed to the Dragons Back via Dinas Castle, which was the highest castle in England and Wales at 450 meters. This hike was a horseshoe of sorts but not the standard one walked from the car park in a anti clockwise direction. This turned into a 16.5 mile hike and took around 8 hours allowing for lunch and filming time. The highest peak of the day was Waun Fach which is the highest mountain of the black mountain range at 811 meters, not a spectacular summit but the views were very nice all the same.
