Located in southern Utah, the park is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the United States, including the Zion Narrows, a deep canyon carved by the North Fork of the Virgin River. In some places, the canyon walls rise 2,000-3,000 feet above the canyon floor, creating a truly awe-inspiring sight. In addition to the Narrows, Zion National Park also features a variety of other hiking trails, including the Canyon Overlook Trail, which offers stunning views of the park from above, and the Angels Landing Trail. This challenging hike rewards hikers with panoramic views of the canyon. In May 2021, we had the opportunity to visit Zion National Park and experience its many wonders firsthand. We began our adventure with a thrilling hike along the Virgin River in the Narrows. The Virgin River carves this narrow slot canyon and is only accessible by foot. The hike was challenging but rewarding, as towering red rock walls and a rushing river surrounded us. After our hike, we took an e-bike tour through the park. This was a great way to see more of the park without hiking all day. We rode past iconic landmarks like Angel's Landing, The Narrows, and Observation Point. The scenery was breathtaking, and we felt like we were truly exploring the park. We ended our day with a relaxing stay at the RV campground. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and taking in the night views of the surrounding mountains and canyons. Zion National Park is a truly fantastic place.
