A poor video to try to help show how the 2011 Veracruz driver door lock actuator is installed. Sorry for the hap-hazardness of it, but feel free to email if you have questions that I can answer about the process. Process: remove interior panel (5 screws, don't forget the one behind the plastic "plate" behind the inside door handle release) Unplug all the connectors Remove the door handle release (5 silver screws) Roll the window to where you can open the two plastic "ports" and see the bolts that hold the window glass in place - remove the glass Remove the 8 bolts (10mm) that hold on the inside door panel Take the ends of the actuator "arms" out of the door handle release (open with the tab at the back of the release handle) Remove and SAVE the little white plastic tabs on the ends of these cables - you need to put these on the new part that doesn't come with them! Remove three torque screws that hold the door latch in (back edge of the door) - size 30 Remove plastic cover above those 3 screws that reveals a single screw - loosen it all the way That allows you to pop out the back of the door handle (outside - the part that locks the door) Remove that part of the handle and then slide the rest of the handle back until it pops out (it takes a lot of wiggling to get it to slide back) Unscrew the screw in the front of the handle so that plastic can now come off (release the edges of it and slide it around so it falls into the door) Now the inside door panel should be ready to fully remove (it takes some shifting and odd angles to get it out) Squeeze the boots that cover the holes for the actuator cables to go through the inside door panel and push them back through the panel This lets you get the inside door panel free to set aside Now you have access to the actuator! You'll need to release three tabs in sequence as you work it apart to get the white plastic off the black actuator part Another tab is needed so it can slide back off the actuator (overly complicated, watch the video) Reassemble backwards and don't forget to connect all of your cables back as you go (especially the one that runs the actuator!!) GOOD LUCK!!
