Thru-hiking NEW Transcaucasian Trail Georgia

In the autumn of 2022, we set out to hike the Upper Svaneti section of the Transcaucasian Trail in Georgia. But the plans changed along the way and we ended up hiking all the way to the border of Armenia. We hiked for a total of 36 days and around 500 kilometres through various mountain passes, villages, colourful forests and unmarked paths. The trail through Georgia was brand new and not public yet. We were among the first people to try this thru-hike and it definitely had its challenges on its way.
