Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire in the 300 block of North 5th Street around 3:20 AM. Units arriving on scene located a multi-story converted home with heavy fire showing from an upstairs unit. A second-alarm assignment was requested and additional resources poured in to douse the blaze. Within 45 minutes firefighters had control of the fire however at least two people were displaced as a result. The Red Cross was requested to assist the displaced residents.
