When we developed the Ultralight Wading System one of the things we wanted to ensure was that women anglers had waders built specifically for them. With a tailored fit, The Women’s Ultralight Convertible Wader improves breathability and comfort, without adding bulk… allowing you to go further and fish longer. Let’s take a look at the features of this wader. The body is constructed with a 4 layer waterproof fabric that improves breathability moves with you, and compacts easily. In high wear areas, the seams are reinforced providing twice the strength as the industry average. Starting at the top, we wanted this to be incredibly easy to convert to waist high so we partnered with Fidlock using their magnetic SNAP fasteners for easy one-handed operation. Rubberized taps on the upper portion of the suspenders for allow you to dock forceps or a zinger. The external chest pocket is protected by a water-resistant YKK Aquaguard zipper and features an integrated fly patch and tool dock. Inside the wader is an interior zip pocket with a 4-way stretch power mesh pocket that expands and conforms to the gear you want to carry. Low profile belt loops and a wide 1.5” elastic belt is included. Updated booties have a snug and comfortable sock-like fit. A new streamlined gravel guard reduces drag in the water and water collecting when out of the water. This wader represents a significant step forward in women’s wader design and function. When packed as a system, they take up less than one cubic foot of luggage space, and weigh less than six pounds.
